I shall not be partaking in any Natural Fitness/Sports Modelling competitions for the present time. This years focus has been nurturing other aspects of my wellness, with just recently returning to training more intensely. I’m very grateful for it. So very fortunate to have had the opportunity to collaborate with the incredibly experienced & knowledgeable @musclecam_iap & film in my beautiful home town city of #Melbourne . . 📹I look back at this video & see how much my body has changed from weight training, but have always kept at least 1-2 runs a week to this day. . 👟I like to create new running paths in the city. I may not look glamorous (lol) but my surroundings are pure mint. . ✨If you find yourself getting bored with long endurance runs, add some spice to them by implementing: ➡️Stair/Hill Sprints. ➡️Short bursts of speed sprints. ➡️Some stretching & corset work to break it up. ➡️I even like to add some push ups & dips along the way. You can get super creative with your routines. ➡️Also, try to experience new locations & trails. This in turn has translated towards her tennis game becoming stronger & more dominating; which was one of her most important goals. . 👱🏻♀️In her first month she managed to drop 2.1kg of body fat & 11.75cm off of her body, just with a few minute nutritional changes. . 🗣I am so proud of this woman & look forward to more years of hearing about tennis victories! Please feel free to comment below if you do have any questions you would like for me to answer👇🏻. . ➡️Cues: 📎Grip barbell bar with hands in a pronated position (overhand) & slightly wider than shoulder width apart (you can use alternate grip one hand forward / back if your grip strength is a limiter). 📎Feet shoulder width apart with the bar positioned over the mid part of the foot. 📎Squat down keeping normal curve in lumbar spine, chest up, head facing forwards & shoulders over the bar. 📎Keep arms straight, hold scapulae down, & brace to stabilise trunk. 📎Commence lift by pushing through the floor with the legs & letting hips & knees rise at the same rate, keeping bar close to shins. 📎When the bar clears the knees, continue to extend the legs & the lower back until body is fully upright. 📎Lower the bar under control keeping lower back slightly curved & the bar close to the body until the plates lightly touch the ground.
