Ŋusẽ: Strength Within is Worlasi's debut musical compilation, a 13 track journey into his dreams, emotions and insights on life and a much needed discourse on black power and owning our destinies. Ŋusẽ which translates from Worlasi's native Ewe dialect as strength, is an audacious staging platform set to propel Worlasi to incredible heights. theStudio x FCA-Ghana ArtTalk Series: The Role of Asafo Flags in Critique of National Identity The Studio in collaboration with Foundation for Contemporary Art - Ghana presents a talk by Kwasi Ohene-Ayeh. The artist will present his current work titled “Notion: 06,03" which studies the relationship between The Bond of 1844 and Ghana’s independence declaration in 1957 and the implications of these moments to Ghana’s cultural and political history. There will be an interactive session with the artist after his presentation. All are cordially invited. Kwasi Ohene-Ayeh is a conceptual artist who lives and works in Ghana. He is currently pursuing an MFA at the College of Art, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, (KNUST) in Kumasi. Date: Thursday, January 14, 2016 Time: 7:30 pm sharp!
