imagine a world like that 🌎✨ #internationalwomensday
hell of a way to kick off another year, feelin the most lucky ✨
Another year older today. 24 broke my heart into a million little pieces and handed me grief I didn’t think I’d survive. 25 gave me New York City and taught me that a dream can come true with some grit and patience. 26 showed me the other side of the world and reinforced my belief that we all have so much in common despite where we come from. 27 will be about self love, self improvement, and being as extra as possible whenever, wherever 💅🏽
had to shut my eyes for like a minute and then reopen to make sure this place was real
One of the sweetest moments from our trip. This little Dutch firecracker, Pippa, sized me up as soon as we got on the island and decided we were going to be friends. She taught me lessons such as never pee in your pants (solid advice) and don’t let a crocodile eat your toes (the more you know!), and I taught her about the life, the grace, and the strength of a goddess we don’t deserve, @michelleobama . When I told her about Becoming, the book I was reading, she asked me to read out loud to her and explain what was happening in all the photos. By the time we said goodbye, Sasha was a new character in the stories she told and Michelle was a new example of a little girl who grew up to be an incredible woman. Her genuine interest has me hopeful for the tiny people all over the world. Thanks for the mems Miss Pip.

I marched because I want to live in a world where we are all free to be our truest selves without fear of persecution. I marched because I believe women everywhere have complete jurisdiction over their own bodies. I marched for black lives, for planned parenthood, and for the sweet baby girls in my life that I want to grow up unafraid to chase their dreams, as big and wild as they may be. Whatever your reason for marching yesterday, thank you.
More feminism, less bullshit ✊🏽
