First grade and third grade “road schooling” (homeschooling on the road) officially started for us Monday and so far so good! + + Our classroom is always changing and is very different from homeschooling. We base a lot of learning around where we are in the U.S. and that gives the kids a much more fun and hands on learning approach. + + We learn all about each state we visit and memorize the capitals. We learn about the animals and geography of each area. The Jr. Ranger program has been an invaluable resource for learning about all the incredible National Parks we visit! + + Tomorrow is a travel day for us, so our learning will take place in the truck! I’m a lot more organized this year and we all already like it better than last year. I’m planning on writing a blog post about what we’re doing this year- soon! Be on the lookout! (What’s better than learning about Crater Lake while right by Crater Lake?!) We ❤️ roadschooling!
